Annual Legislative Conference CES Exhibit
September 24 – September 26
The Annual Legislative Conference of the CES was a perfect national platform to promote CES and it two main platforms – Mentoring and Tutoring. The ‘BE A ROLE MODEL’ initiative arose from an expressed need in our community for change. The issue surrounding the growth and development of at-risk children has long been forgotten. In 2006, CES answered the call, and began a formalized mentoring program. The statistics of youth today regarding dysfunction and lack of support are staggering and increasing every day. In order for the program to continue in 2010, we need additional support. Individuals who care can make a difference!
